A blog about being practical and more sustainable and kinder to the environment and yourself

Self-Care

Start with yourself

Life is what you make it. It’s important to take some time out of every day to devote to things you want to do. Yes, we all have to work but you can’t just work you need a balance. It’s all about finding a perfect balance. To enrich your life. To live for you. To realise what is around you. To turn nothing into something. To find your vision. Start your journey now, it’s not too late.

Look at what nature has given us.

Where will your journey start?

Our world is vast and so are your opportunities.

Believe in yourself. Believe that you can make it work. It starts with you. It starts off with small steps and then you will see it’s possible. Set small goals at first. What do you like to do? Be you. Find yourself again. What do you enjoy? What you did in the past may not be what you desire now.

Create your journey.

ABOUT ME

Hi I’m Julia

WELCOME

Let me introduce myself. I am passionate about recycling, crafting, plants, organising, and motivating people. I love to reuse and repurpose what I can to turn nothing into something. I am also a mother, a wife and I have a very busy life. I have so many great ideas I really want to share with people so that is why I started this blog. I am also a dance teacher and an education assistant. I’ve done a lot and I’m still doing a lot and I also love to create. From sewing to crocheting to planting and garden designing. I’ve got a lot to give.

This is my beautiful city of Perth where I live. I consider myself very fortunate to live in such a beautiful place. It is clean and safe and an amazing place to raise a family. In a city like Perth, you have endless opportunities and experiences available. From exquisite white sandy beaches to outstanding jarrah bushlands, everything is at your fingertips. Our state of Western Australia is so vast you will need 3 weeks to go from one end to the other covering approximately 1,900 km.
